    Default "ifconfig en0 ether" permission

    I searched "ifconfig en0 ether" and have not yet found the answer.
    when I type ifconfig en0 ether 00:00:00:00:00:00 into vt100 term it says:
    "ifconfig: ioctl (SIOCAIFADDR) : permission denied"

    What do I need to do?

    Edit: 00:00:00:00:00:00 = any 12 numbers ( ":" separated)
