restarting tha' pod every time

does the ipod always have to restart each time u install/customize/smbpref something? or is there a way to avoid this?

sure its a small annoyance compared to how great it is to have it jailbroken, but it would still be nice to not wait for the restart every time.

I'm pretty sure there is a way to stop it from soft restarting.
The thing is, you updates/uninstalls/change won't come into affect until you restart. And what's the point in changing something if you're not gonna look at it?
