300 mb?!

Hey.. I got a problem.. i cant jailbreak my ipod..
every time i try it i stuck at the dos windows when i have to close the apple and itunes processes .. i close them press enter and than it says: waiting for iphone?! wtf?
and after i crashed safari in "about" it says that i have 300 mb of space... not 16 gigs xD
