How do make a screen shot on my touch?? I saw the iPhone app in installer. It worked once, now it messes with mypods brain. goes crazy! Any suggestions? I did look around the forums with no luck.

***Here's how you do it***

1) Create this directory:
~/Media/DCIM/100APPLE
2) Install Dock from Installer
3) Use Dock's built in Screenshot Utility. It will save into that directory you just created.

I saw that in my searches. Problem is, I'm dumb and can't figure out the SSH thing. I downloaded Putty, but have no idea how to log in. Username? Password? Any help?

Since you're using Putty, I'm assuming you're on Windows. Open putty, then enter the IP address of the iPod, and click Open. Use "root" as the login and "dottie" as the password.

You installed SSH on your iPod when you jailbreaked it, right?

Don't bother with putty.

Download an FTP client such as filezilla : http://filezilla.sourceforge.net (it's free)

Then simply type in the ip of your touch (find this in Settings -> Wi-Fi and click the blue arrow next to your network), type in "root" as the login and "alpine" as the password (NOT dottie), and set the port to 22.

That just happened to me. The whole screenshot effing up my ipod. It sucked i had to restore my ipod and put all 3,000 song back on. And jailbreak it again.

If you don't have SSH, you can use the free browsing tool called iPhoneList. It's what I use for my iPod.
It's located at http://code.google.com/p/iphonelist/ .

1. Jailbreak and install Screenshot
2.Open your favorite SFTP prog.
3. search in the /tmp folder
4.Shots are named 90384750293874.png
5.Copy in your folder(computer)
6. Share it to your firends and enemys.
