Directory

Hello,
Using iBrickr I created a directory for NES but (because it was really late) messed up on the naming of the dir.
How do I correct or really I want to delete the directory totally?

iBrickr give me the option to delete a file but not a directory.
I tried a file manager called: Squid, but it does not allow for one to delete anything.

Thanks
JW

Thank you f or replying.
Can you tell me what SSH is?
I am new at this stuff.
I have a OpenSSH in my Installer app that jailbreak installed, but when I install it, it doesn't seem to place a icon on the home screen.
I have both a PC and MAC so please if you could advise.

Thank you again.

ssh is always running so there wont be an icon
ok so download putty(google it) for windows
open it up and type in the ip address of the ipod
to find the ip address go to the settings app on the ipod and click wifi
click the blue arrow next to your wifi network and under ip address is the ip address
enter it into putty and press connect or go or whatever it says and then type root and for password type alpine
now go to go to the folder above the folder to want to delete
(use cd <folder name> e.g. if you want to go to the apps directory you would type cd /Applications/)
then type rmdir <the folder you want to delete> e.g. to remove a nes.app folder type rmdir nes.app
hope this helps if it does please use the thank icon on this post because this took awhile to write and my arm hurts

Thank you for all the word but I have another question:
I typed in alpine but it tells me that access is denied and that the root@ip address password and I type in alpine.
Access is denied.

Any ideas as to why?
I just downloaded it and installed so I never changed the password?

Thanks

Yes I found a YouTube video that said if alpine does not work to try dottie...
Dottie did in fact work.

Thank you again for all your support.
