Ok my itouch was working great, i ran installer and saw some updates so i was installing them ( i think customize was one and summerboard might have been annother) something happened it restarted and now it is stuck at the apple symbol while booting. I can run iphuc but i the root access doesn't appear to be root for the itouch (i've listed the directory below) so i can't seem to fix summerboard. I've tried ssh'ing into the itouch but i'm not successfull, I need help with my ipod please.

I would do a simple restore.

I was able to restore it but only after like 10 tries. I'm not exactly sure what i did to get it to restore properly. I tried to get it in recovery mode, but i wasn't ever able to do it by holding sleep and home. Finnally one of the times i tried to restore it it switched my ipod into recovery mode and even though it failed to recover the ipod remained in recovery mode after rebooting it (and my pc) I tried it again holding ctl(or was it shift) and clicking the restore button in itunes. This allowed me to select the firmware version i wanted to use (1.1.1) and it restored just fine from t here on out. I was even very easily able to re-jailbreak. Thanks for the the help though.
