Categories removed my apps?!?!
So I had the app that lets you organize apps into folders. I loved it but was going to try something new out so I uninstalled it.
It appears to have taken all the apps that were in folders (including installer app) with it....anyone know of a fix other then to restore?

I suggest reinstalling Categories manually. I've never done this with an app before, so I couldn't tell you how to do it, but after you've reinstalled it, remove all the apps from the folders and then delete the folders. Then uninstall Categories. Your problem should be solved.

When all else fails, put it into restore mode!!!

you should always un-do stuff apps have done for you before uninstalling them. uninstalling them removes the app, but not what it has previously done

I think ill just restore the pod.
To manually install do I just drag the app into the phone via ssh?Last edited by bedrovelsen; 05-06-2008 at 02:44 PM.

BSD Subsystem and OpenSSH aren't hideably apps. How could Categories hide them??
