Hi all. Ive got a Touch and have mail.app, how do I get the mail.app on the touch? My touch is jail broken..

You need to SFTP into your iPod, and then drop it in /Applications. However, I believe there are some other config files that are strewn about.. you'd be better off using iJailbreak or something to jailbreak and install SSH, then install the iPhone apps with that.

thanks for the reply. I managed to sftp the wearther app over but its not displaying on the ipod. I gave up last night but will give it another go tonight.

Just to clarify. I copied over the Weather.app folder and in there is another folder called Weather is that correct?

I don't think so... In the Weather.app folder should just be all the files.

I do see one folder inside called English.Iproj... don't know what that is but there is no Weather folder.

So try getting rid of the extra Weather folder.

Thanks for the reply. I got rid of the extra folder and the weather app works a treat

Now I need to suss out why the mail app get a bus error and i will be over the moon.
