Bootloader help please!

Ok I am one of the many that have used ziphone to jailbreak like the N3WB I did not research fully!!
My problem is I am a at&t customer and now am stuck with the 3.9 bootlader
I would like to some how go back to 4.6 just in case of anything!!1
Is there anyway I could do this and if you did please explain how!
and ways of backing up programs and data!
Please help me out!
