So, I have everything set up the way I want it. WPA key entered for my network, Jailbreak, all my apps, N45AP.plist edited to the only icon order that satisfies my OCD, etc.

How can I back up this configuration? It would be nice, just in case I manage to break something...or if I happen to get a dead pixel in the next 90 days (my return period).

I was hoping it would be as simple as running iphuc and doing a getfile again...but it gives me a "Failed to open remote file: 8" error when I try that.

Does anyone know an easy way to do this?

You could try using SSH or SFTP to just transfer all those files (ie N45AP.plist etc) on to your computer and then save it somewhere nice.
Otherwise, you could just recursively back up the entire file tree the same way.
WinSCP would be able to do that i believe.
Although i suspect there are possibly simpler methods.

Yeah, I thought about doing that...but I figured there has to be some simpler way.

I used WinSCP to backup directories. But you'll have to skip some system stuff as it won't copy. Guessing some files are in use or locked-out...dunno.
