Step by step order or linksto modding itouch

This might have been posted before but the thing is, this forum gets slammed with new post i cant keep up with this, so can someone post me the basic to just crackin the itouch, then some links on how to skin and app customization and anything else that crazy but in order the way u think it should be handled.

I used planetbeing's touchFree to jailbreak my iPod Touch. Seemed to work fine for me, except for one step which i did manually.

As for customisation, there are a few little tips and tricks on this forum alone, as well as a series of apps you can download directly to the touch with Installer.app once you've jailbroken it.
