hey guys,I just got a Iphone 1.1.1 the other day.
Used Ibrickr to download to 1.0.2
then used wiNstaller to activate the phone and Jailbreak it i then used the installer.app to get it on the phone.

anyway, im wondering if i do a restore back to 1.1.1 from itunes whether this will stuff up my phone in anyway.
as i havent run the sim free application yet??

Is this correct - u can activate it etc, however as soon as you try to go back to 1.1.1 after you unlock the sim it wont work...

also,what is Jailbreaking?
All my At&t cards work with reception but i cant put another mobile provider sim card in, does this mean that the sim is also unlocked?

Could I have several replies to verify before i restore please.

jailbreaking is basically getting root access to read and write so that you can allow third party apps and ssh
