hello.

i just bought an iPhone. it's on its way and should be here on Thursday. i am 99.9% sure it will be running the latest firmware.

i am very new to this and have no experience doing anything remotely the same. did i screw up in making this purchase?

any advice will be so appreciated. running an intel mac.

no u r not screw up. U will be able to jailbreak it and unlock it if u want to use it with a different carrier.
BTW u posted in the wrong forum. mod move it to modding iphone not ipod touch
