Could you help me with this? I've got an iPod Touch 4 with iOS 5.0.1 and my multitasking background is now black instead of the smooth grey, and so are the ones of every folder. The apps are completely visible, but I just don't enjoy the lame black background. My most recent modifications are: I've installed the DoNotDisturb tweak from Cydia (which I've also deleted immediately after installing) and I've installed Facebook Voice from the AppStore, which I've also deleted.
Even though I removed all the latest additions from my iPod, the backgrounds are still black. Please help me.
If it helps, here are some screenshots of my problem.

I think its in Installation error in iOS.
You should Backup, Restore and Jailbreak again!

Seriously?! It's been working without any problems for about 3 weeks now. Is there no other solution? And why did this error appear just now?

Did You made any changes in System Files or so?
06-12-2012, 11:00 PM #5
No. The only changes I've done to my iPod are jailbreaking(obviously), installing apps via ********** and the AppStore, and a few tweaks in Cydia. I didn't do anything more advanced than this.

Exact same **** just started on my iPhone 4. I've uninstalled the last few apps, but nothing made a difference. Tried changing the back ground pic which also didn't help. This sucks and is annoying me to no end!

You have FacebookThis or iOS 6 photos menu installed?

Did you respring?

After removing Facebookthis, go into winterboard, enable everything, respring, disable everything, and respring again and you'll be all set.
Also, please note we do not support piracy on this forum. Since it is not the cause of your problem though, I will still help you

Also, if you have the iOS 6 Photo app, remove that as well since it is known to cause the same problems as FacebookThis.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! This annoyance might seem minuscule at first, but it had started to drive me crazy! Now, my folders have the smooth grey background they had before!
Again, thank you, and I also want to thank everyone who replied to my post. Looks like I don't need longevity on these forums to get the answers to my questions, seeing as how you're all nice people!

I've also heard of another thing that can fix this called FolderFixer, try it out if you removed FacebookThis and it's still not solved.
