11-01-2011, 03:29 PM #1I need help making a .deb file for a bootlogo.
I learned Umbutu just so I could create this package. After a few days of troubleshooting I finally got a .deb file. I installed the file on my Ipod (sudo dpkg -i Vortex.deb) but it didn't show up in my settings--->bootlogo section, even after rebooting and respringing.
I know the bootlogo works because I copied the files directly to my Ipod and was able to select them as my bootlogo. It's just when I delete those files then install the package I get no selection for it.
So, I'm asking if anyone can redo my bootlogo into a .deb package please? The link to the zip file is below.
If there is something wrong in the file let me know what it is so next time I won't make that mistake.

Update: I found the problem. I named a directory Bootlogos instead of BootLogos... I'm too used to Windows file naming.
