I'm repairing some iPod touch 4g; after replacing the LCD assembly and closing everything with new adhesive I notice that if I press the digitizer on the top (outside the screen) some halos appear; I think this could be cause by a slightly thicker l d (than the original) which is compressed between the digitizer and the metal middle plate beneath the LCD

Anyone having the same issue?
I paid this LCD assembly 23€
