iPod Touch 3G bricked?

hey everyone,
i have an ipod touch 3g already jail broken. I was installing some cydia tweaks including ******* (i was curious what it was), and colorkeyboard. After installing these my ipod froze and began to reboot. However, it boots up to the apple logo then the logo goes away and its the little loading thing as if i were respringing it. After a while the ipod shuts off and repeats the process until the battery eventually dies. I already used ifunbox to delete ******* and colorkeyboard. I can put it in DFU mode and recovery mode but when i try to restore i get error codes and the restore fails. Afterwards i tried redsn0w to just boot it from there but redsn0w doesnt recognize the ipod 5.1.1 ipsw. What should i do now?
