Email app on JB iPod touch 4g 5.1.1 keeps crashing

Hello,

Just recently, I started having a problem with the mail app on my iPod, it keeps crashing.

Every time i click on a message to read it, the app freezes and just wont open the email. I am able to exit by pressing the home button so its not totally freezing. I tried fixing user directory permissions through SBSettings, but it didn't help. Are there things i can do to fix it that don't involve resetting or restoring my iPod?

Anything new like tweaks or themes ya installed lately that made this happen?

I'm not really sure. But I don't think so. I know it was working after I first JB it, but then this just started happening.

Put ya phone in safe mode and see if it happens still?

It's an iPod, but ok. I can't believe i didn't think to try that before.

I'll give it a go and let you know what happens.

I put it into safe mode but it still crashed. What should i do now?

Weird dont work in safe mode sounds like a restore is the only way to fix this issue.
