    Default Jailbreak Problem
With Absinthe I've just jailbroken my sister's friend's iOS 5.1.1 iPod Touch (4th Gen). When it was done everything was fine until my sister took it and started messing around. She told me she opened cydia and turned off the iPod while it was on the loading screen (the one that appears the first time you open cydia). She turned it back on and we noticed that Settings, Music, App Store, Cydia and a lot of other important apps are gone. I tried searching in Spotlight for them but that didn't work. Does anyone have a way to get all the apps back without restoring the iPod from a backup (because I don't have this guy's music, apps, etc.) saved on my iTunes. Thanks in advance for any help.

EDIT: I tried to plug it in and get Absinthe to rejailbreak it but it said it was already jailbroken.

You could try booting into safe mode and see if that will fix it. If that doesn't work definetly try a hard reset.

If neither of those work then I say restore.

I don't know how to intentionally boot it in safe mode without a cydia tweak that gives me the option to do it. But it doesn't really matter because I just restored it anyway. I needed to get the iPod back to its owner quickly. Thanks for the reply anyway
