Is there a way to remove screen burn?
Hey guys, I noticed screen burn on the middle-right corner of the screen of my ipod touch 4G. At first it was just white but over time it became brownish especially when the background image is white. Is there a way to remove this or my screen is messed up already. By the way I tried to screen capture but I realized that it wont include the burnt part. I hope you can help me out on this one guys. Thank you.

Sounds like it might be dead pixels, and there's nothing you can do about that.
Until the next time… And if I help you out, give me a "Thanks!" Thanks!

If it is dead pixels, there's no saying if it will spread or not. It might be something else then. The LCD could just be failing in general.

It seems to be a common defect in the 4th Gen ipod touches.
Its not "screen burn" but could be the touchpad delaminating from the LCD.
The only fix I know of is: take it back to Apple (if you're within the warranty).
I've seen it TWICE myself.
First time, it showed up 9 months after buying the iPT, and I returned it to the Apple Store.
Second time (on the replacement) it showed up after 4 months, and is no longer covered by warranty.
Maybe Cowboy can help.
:/
(he repairs the things. probably not cheaply.)
