Default Installing an ipod touch battery
So my friend recently washed her ipod touch and the battery is pretty much done for now. I told her i want to try to fix it and she gave me the ok. Do any of you have tips for replacing a 4th gen touch battery? Also, do you have any info on where to buy tool kits and batteries? Amazon has batteries for about 10$, do you think they are legit? I'm super excited to try to fix it, any help would be appreciated.

If she washed it, id have to imagine the battery isnt the main problem. I dropped my ipod in a sink full of water once and it fried it haha just figured id give you a heads up.

Her ipod still works when it's plugged in though, wouldn't that mean that it's a battery issue?
