I'm trying to restore my sister's iPod to factory settings to have the battery replaced at the Apple store. I've needed to remove the jailbreak on the iPod before I took it in, so I restored the iPod to factory settings with the latest version from iTunes. I am getting a constant reboot after a successful restore, preventing the iPod from starting up.
Here's a video of what's happening. The device is running from USB power, but same results from a wall outlet.

Seems odd for that to happen, but have you tried holding the power and home button simultaneously? Maybe you can kick it out of the loop, or get it into DFU/Restore mode and re-restore?Ipod enthusiast/computer programmer.......anyone want a PC music randomizer?
