is there ANY way to defrag the iphone 3g??

it is driving me insane how freaken slow it is. not to mention i have a very good amount of memory left. it should NOT take more than 40 seconds to load up my email, text messages, or calculator. this is ridiculous.

i heard of the cydia app "DeviceSpeed" test. but when i use it, it loads and shows a bunch of red dots [suggesting how slow my iphone is running] and before i can click anything, the app closes itself.

i have restarted my phone and even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. still nothing. please someone suggest SOMETHING to me.

oh and i do not have the 4.0 ios. i have 3.1.3

The iPhone 3G is just slow in general. It flat out does not have enough RAM to run properly after a jailbreak. You should be most concerned about how many mobile substrate apps you have installed and use SB Settings to monitor your free RAM. If it's consistently below 20 you need to free memory often or uninstall some plug-ins.
