    Default help me plz ipod 2g stuck on recovery mode
    i got a problem here my friend asked me to try an fix his ipod 2g that stuck on recovery mode. i tried all kinds of methods even restore it to 4.2 on apples ob firmware and i get error 9 can anyone help me out plz id appriciate it

    Ok. Well, before you go any further, make sure you are on the most current version of iTunes. Once that is done try restoring it again.

    If you see the bar on the iPods screen while it restores and it looks like it completed, then I would suggest to download TinyUmbrella. This program will recognize all devices plugged into the computer. If TinyUmbrella recognizes your iPod in recovery mode, it will be able to "kick it out." This means that it will just take it out of recovery mode and hopefully make it usable again.

    Error 9 is not a very good error to have. Try using a different computer and possibly even a mac to restore it if possible.

    no it doesnt recognize the ones in recovery mode it only recognizes the ones thay are working properly and if i plug it in it doesnt say kick out of recovery
