I replaced my front glass and tossed the old scratched piece in the trash, but after reinstalling the new glass in a new aftermarket bezel the home key has no spring to it and does not "click" down and pop back up. I have searched all over the internet and not a single person covers this. Did I toss a little part that apparently no part seller mentions? I even went to the sites that sell the tiny replacement parts in hopes of finding something, but all I find are the actual button that does not include any extra little part that I would consider a spring of any kind. Same for the aftermarket bezel itself. Now I have a fantastic looking touch that can't find it's way home. Can someone help me with this? I couldn't find this subject on the forums search. Thanks!

No ideas, folks? This has to be easy for someone who has taken these things apart! Thank you

Yes, I'd think really that something got screwed up on it. Consider opening it up and seeing the inside, know there's a website that shows exactly what's in the iPod itself but it doesn't ring any bells right now, sorry.
