ok so long story short i accidentally sat on it and this happened. it still works even over the broken area it still responds to my touch everything works great its just so freaking annoying cuz you cant see anything thats behind it


what do i do?!?!?! is there anyone who can do this or can i do it myself and if so how much will it cost.

i dont have a warranty on it and there isnt an apple store around me. i went online to see and they dont have a section for my type of repair

Ooh that's bad...then it seems u just get a new one or just continue using it...however their should be a repair available regarding screens

well i did get a new one i got the 2g but i wanna fix this that way i can sell it and hopefully get an iphone unlocked for tmobile

BestBuy, AT&T, (I DONT KNOW IF THEY FIX IT OR NOT) or even if its far away, an Apple store.

I would just take it to your closest apple store and they will fix it for you. try what i said in my post above.

EDIT- Dude, make sure your know what you are getting into if you send it to a apple store.

Worst Case Scenario-(Most unlikely) Apple sues you. (Reason-Tempering with he system software of any kind, putting modifactions and / or hacking software..

I read a comment on yourtube saying a guy got sued for $80,000 for hacking. I will try to look for the video..

Double Edit- This only would apply if you jailborken you ipod.

Triple Edit- Oh i see the picture of it.
I would restore it then send it in if possible.
(That way, apple cant sue you and all your jailbreak data is GONE )
