Cydia crashing when trying to instal
Ipod touch, 2nd gen, 16 gig, 3.0.
been using cydia, downloading the usual, openssh, winterboard, mxtube, stuff like that, go to download themes for winterboard, look at couple, see some that i like. click install, about half the time it proceeds to crash. this happens with the 1st gen ipod touch, 8g, 3.0 that i jailbroke for a friend too, used redsn0w. is there anyway to prevent this from happening? after i open cydia back up i can go back in and install the thing i was going to but it's just a waste of time @.@

Check two things: Hard Drive Space, if there is some ridiculously low amount of Space left then Cydia wont even open.
Second Go into manage/Storage in Cydia,Look at the top Pie chart, if there is no space left in system thats a problem, clear some space (You should try and leave about 5MG free at least)

Or, you could try stoping some of the winter board running themes
Some themes will make Cydia not work. If you still have problems with cydia and you tried everything u can, the last option is to restore your iPod. Its the "last resort" but it will fix your problems.
You just have to re-installing all your jailbroken material -_-
