ipod stays at apple logo

Hi everyone my ipod touch 2.2.0 (jailbreaked) after reseting everything from settings wont boot up anymore. I cant put it in DFU, Restore, or recovery mode and my computer wont pick it up. I know how to hard restore and stuff like that but it wont work . So can someone help me.

You cant reset all settings on a jailbroken touch or iphone cause it will cease to boot.

And it will go into DFU mode if you do it properly, then you can restore it:

Make sure its plugged into PC, itunes open.

1. Hold the POWER button for 5 seconds.

2. WITHOUT releasing the POWER button, now hold the HOME button for 10 seconds (both held)

3. Let go of POWER, CONTINUE to hold the HOME button until itunes recognizes the touch (about 10-20 seconds)

my ipod touch is dead

A full restore and then re jailbreaking with quikpwn would be an option. then you can simply get most stuff back by restoring from backup
