Springboard crash!
Okay, I'm jailbroken on my iTouch 4g an I ain't sure what to do at tho point. My springboard keeps crashing and I've done everything the help page requires you to do up to this point. If I posted in this in the wrong section I apologise, the whole category thing confused me
anyway if anyone could help that'd be freaking awesome! Cheers, Rob.

You tried respringing right? If not, respring and see if that works. If you already did that reinstall MobileSubstrate SafeMode and see if that does anything. It does say you're in SafeMode correct?

Very very odd. Try reinstalling SBSettings (It houses Mobile Substrate SafeMode and stuff like that) That might work. If not, In SBSettings use 'Fix User DIR Permissions' Choose that option and see if it makes a difference.

I've never seen a problem like this before... Did this start happening after you installed a certain tweak or anything?

Did this only happen after the jailbreak or did this happen after you installed some apps?

You see that's what I thought, 'cause when I usually find my way to safe mode, I delete whatever I just downloaded, but this time I did and it still didn't work, did all the CrashReport stuff, and they didn't work. So yeah I haven't heard of anything like this before. Rob.
I've been jailbroken since the iPod 4 was released, fu*king me over, the screens boring!
Fixed it, at the cost of all my tweaks! Not to worry, they're replaceable. If anyone els get in to the same situation. You have to delete Mobile Substrate. This will then delete a load of things from Cydia then download a new tweak and Substrate will come back and it'll all work fine again. Thanks to X H4CK3R X for all your help! Cheers again, Rob.Last edited by Coddy1234; 03-25-2012 at 03:13 PM.

No problem. I was thinking Substrate might've been the problem since I've heard reports of it doing that before. Glad ya fixed it!
