Download SHSH

Does anyone know if downloading SHSH blobs is possible? I need to downgrade to 4.0.1 from 4.3.3 on my iPod touch 3G. It WON'T enter DFU mode in Redsn0w! Anyways, I'm trying to use Jailbreakme.com to do it. I don't have any saved SHSH blobs for 4.0.1, so I need one. Any suggestions?

P.S. Maybe if someone had an SHSH blob for 4.0.1 thhey could e-mail it to me or something?

SHSH blobs are unique to each device. You won't be able to make use of somebody else's blobs.

What firmware are you on now? You can grab SHSHs for whatever your firmware is right now with iFaith. If you are on the most updated version, you cannot get SHSHs for anything except the newest fw version.

Then unfortunately you are stuck with 4.3.3.
