iPod Touch Rumored to Have 32nm A5 Chip and 1136x640 Display

Apple is supposedly prepared to launch a new iPod Touch with a 1,136x640 pixel display running on an S6L8942X processor that will be less powerful than the rumored S5L8950X CPU in the next-generation iPhone. These details were discovered and revealed by Will Strafach, better known as “chronic,” in the iOS community. He pointed out that the new iPod, identified in software as “iPod5,1” is known internally at Apple by its code name “N78AP.”
Previously in July, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities said he expected the new iPod Touch to feature components from existing iOS products, such as the A5 processor currently found in the iPhone 4S. The S5L8942X code name aligns with the updated 32-nanometer A5 chip found in the currently available iPad 2 as well as the Apple TV. The smaller iPad 2 A5 CPU, which was released in March, was viewed as a test by Apple in utilizing Samsung’s 32-nanometer chipmaking process. Hardware testing done after the release of the revised iPad 2 found that the more efficient chip improved battery life by as much as 16%. The 32-nanometer A5 chip in the Apple TV is a bit different from the one found in the iPad 2 as it has one core disabled, allowing it to run without a thermal pad even as it outputs high-definition 1080p video.
As of right now, the details suggest that the new iPod Touch will feature a new system-on-a-chip that is slower than the processor that is rumored to appear in Apple’s next-generation iPhone. There are some reports and some analysts who believe that the next-generation iPhone will feature a new chip which will be branded as the “A6.” We’ll find out the specs soon enough as the iPhone and iPod Touch are expected to be unveiled tomorrow with a redesigned, 4-inch Retina display.

No, it's been confirmed that for tomorrow they'll only show new colors for the current model, let's not forget that the iphone is their main attraction and they don't want to put anything that might take the attention from it.

B.S. for all the ipod touch fans whereas all the iPhone 5 buyers will most likely get an A6 chip.😡

Well i guess that makes sense. Here is my question, if they are keeping the A4 model with colors what is the cost? Didn't they report 299/399 respectively? What are the sizes? 16, 32, 64, 128? Im not paying 100 more for a color that's a bit much. They will shed some light on it I hope. But like you guys said above..its about the phone..and i can't wait to get one :]
