Quite right! How often do you get anything 'free' from Apple?
Since that iPod Nano, I've bought several other iPods, iPhones and iPads. I have several old iPods that I rarely use - and a 4gb Nano isn't really getting a look-in anymore since all the newer ones have much more gb's on them.
Plus... its 'dangerous' and might explode in my pocket if I use it!

They are sending a box for me to send in my original. I forgot that i took it all apart because the screen was cracked. Im gonna see if i can make it look like a working ipod again. Maybe theyll still replace it even if the screen is cracked. Dunno. Worst case scenario theyll send it back to me with a FU note in the box.

Still better than never. Never had an issue with mine. Had it and used it since I got it. Just this last year the battery finally stopped holding the charge for to long.
Love the scroll wheel on it.

They are sending me a 6th gen nano. I am pissed. The 1st gen was the best. Since the start they said over and over they were going to send refurb 1st gens out. That is why I sent mine in.
And before people say you got a newer one not that old device I want to say mine was still working order. Yes the battery lasted not as long but it stayed in a docking station mostly so that was no a huge issue. Hence why I sent it in since it stayed in a docking station majority of the time I didn't want the chance of it causing a fire.
No I don't want to sell the new one on ebay and buy a 1st gen because again not sure if that one would have the battery issue fixed.Last edited by Cer0; 12-22-2011 at 04:44 AM.

Got my new touch nano today too like some of you. Totally stoked on it and I can't wait to buy that watch housing thing for it to replace my crappy old armband that I used to wear when working out.
Nuh nuh nuh nuh nuuuhhhhh I'm lovin' it. (this is purely a mcdonalds reference not to be confused with someone making fun of others)

Just received my 6th gen yesterday too. Also pretty excited about getting double the storage and having the Nike+ built in since I was using my 1st gen almost exclusively for working out.
