New iPods Across the Board

Apple officially announced the new iPod touch, Nano, and Shuffle today. However, any mention of a new iPod Classic was absent.

The new iPod touch comes in both black and white as well as 8GB ($199), 32GB ($299), and 64GB ($399) flavors. The new iPod touch features a retina display and enough horsepower to use all the feature of iOS 5 and can take advantage of iMessage as well.

The new iPod nano comes in seven different colors (silver, red, pink, gold, green, blue, and black) as well as 8GB ($129) and 16GB ($149) capacities. Also, a testament to the Nano-as-a-watch movement, Apple included 16 different clock faces for users to choose from when checking time on the Nano.

The new Shuffle comes in 5 colors (silver, pink, gold, green, and blue) and a single 2GB capacity for $49.

It is a sad day for iPod Classic lovers out there. Unless Apple still supports the device after today, it appears to have been phased out with no updates to the large capacity simple MP3 player forthcoming.

Iphone 4s is PANTS ill wait for i5 i think so its a bit faster graphics bit sharper better camera two antennas connection as good as 4G connectivity bla bla bla......ill wait i5 aint far away.....ios5 looks ok though.

If that's all that's new with the touch 5, I might as well buy a 64GB touch 4 and use it for the next few years.
I mean, I've used a touch 2g since 2009 and I don't care about it being slow and unsupported, so why not a touch 4?

These aren't iPod touch 5's. They are still the 4's from what I can see. All they added was a white one.
