Leaked Photos Surface of Supposed 7th Generation iPod Nano

Supposedly leaked images of Apple's 7th generation iPod nano turned up on a well-known Taiwanese Apple blog that has previously spilled the beans on subsequent Apple product refreshes via photographic evidence. On Monday, tw.apple.pro published the above image, sparking speculation about what changes will be noteworthy on the next-gen iPod nano.
According to the report, the new nano will sport a low-resolution 1.3 megapixel camera. Sources speaking with the blog contend that Apple has removed the obligatory clip, as it would obstruct the camera lens and detract from the new functionality of the refreshed device. Of course, if you're having a difficult time imagining a clip-less iPod nano, you're
not alone.
Several weeks ago, similar images and reports surfaced from the Far East, but today's "leak" provides what some consider the most compelling clues yet as to what the 7th generation nano will look like.
It's hard to believe that the first generation iPod nano was introduced way back in 2005 as a replacement for the iPod Mini. Since then, our trusty nano has seen a total of six models since its introduction. The current sixth generation iPod nano supports FM radio, a pedometer, and a multitouch interface.

The iPod nano updates are becoming way too often. This is not acceptable for their hefty price, which nears an iPhone minus almost all the functionality.

These things need to be under $100. I can't imagine anyone not being willing to throw down a few extra bucks and get an iPod Touch.

So they plan on making their most widely used and popular music player for gym goers useless by adding a camera. Good stuff.

Lame, the iPod Nano 5th Generation was the best nano Apple made! Apple needs to stop making this shuffle look alike and go back to the other design.
Can I get a "what what!"?!

The 6th gen is the best design. Nobody needs a camera on their nano.

It IS acceptable and you WILL like it and you WILL buy it whether you like it or not because it is made by Apple.....or you will burn in hell.
If Apple released a $600 ink pen you will buy THAT to because it will be the most epic ink pen in the history of ink pens. DEAL WITH IT! :P

Wow. These little "leaked devices" are getting worse and worse. How would a camera go through the clip?

I even thought the 5th gen was almost too thin to hold easily. I couldn't imagine fumbling around with one of these 6th or 7th gen devices.

that can be easily photoshopped and that comes from my photoshop skills
but if thats a real camera on the ipod, stupidest idea. but i guess an extremely small one will be cool because you always never know what youll see these days.
