256MB of RAM is still a lot... enough for most things, really. Unless you plan on installing 12381908390128398 Mobile Substrate addons, which would crash the moon if you really wanted to.

Yeah I don't think I'd be able to coerce myself into tearing apart any idevice.
I get super pissed when I just drop mine and maybe get a little scratch.

The new iPod Touch takes same quality videos as the iPhone 4 but lower quality still photos?

sucks that they didn't give it 512mb of ram. I've been waiting to buy an ipod touch and was hoping for one in excess of 64GB to replace my ipod video 80GB. Guess i'll get the next gen ipad instead.
