iMovie Comes to 4th Generation iPod Touch

Apple today updated its mobile version of iMovie to include compatibility with the latest 4th generation iPod Touch. Now that the iPod Touch has the same dual cameras found in the iPhone 4, it makes sense for Apple to upgrade iMovie. The latest iPod Touch includes many of iPhone 4’s key features, such as the faster A4 processor, retina display, and both front and rear facing cameras. The newest iPod Touch finally has enough horsepower to handle everything iMovie has to offer.
Everyone who uses iMovie will welcome the new features found in this version. These new features include:
- The ability to split video clips into multiple segments.
- Music will now automatically loop if the video clip is longer than the music track.
- The Video Browser now includes a scrub to preview feature.
- A new in-app Tips page that will help you learn and use new key features.
- An updated Photo Browser that puts your latest pictures at the top.
- A new Mute badge that let’s you know when a movie clip has its audio disabled.
- And the usual stability and performance improvements.
iMovie was first demonstrated during Apple’s WWDC and initially was only available for the iPhone 4. With this update more budding moviemakers will be able to edit and make movies on the go. I can’t wait for my next vacation so that I can edit my home movies on the flight back home.

Funny thing is, the new ipod touch has 256mb ram. Same as the ipad. only thing is that this won't run on the ipad.
They also have the same A4 processor.

Yes! This will be very nice for editing when I finally get my iPod 4g! It was just a matter of time for Apple to release this app!
My Devices:

So many features I want, but getting them means giving up the JB, so no go for now...

If I didn't have my iPhone 4 and didn't have the money to get one I would buy this without much hesitation because it literally is an iPhone without the lengthy contract and very cheap indeed.
