When exactly has an iTunes update broken a jailbreak on a device? Not counting morons who 'accidently' upgrade their firmware.

iTunes 10 is crashing on OS X 10.6 when I plug in my iPhone 4 and go to the "apps" tab of the phone.

I'm jailbroken. Wondering if that has anything to do with it...

You can't check update from Itune. You have to go to apple website and download itune 10. I don't know why.

Is anyone getting an error on there iphone when clicking ping on itunes app? i get "can not connect to itunes store". everything else works fine and I am signed in.

Nope, no problem here. Did you try setting up your account through iTunes/Ping first? Just a thought.

My teenage kids pointed out something to me. They're connected to my account as they don't have credit cards, so when they open ping on their phones it takes them to my account. Is there any way to set this up without a credit card account? If not, then this is a big big flaw. How do teens join ping without a credit card??? Facebook doesn't need your credit card to join.

Yeah I'm already signed up, kinda cool. I like the Concerts feature, but it seems difficult to actually find people with the same interests in music as yourself. Maybe I'm missing something.

Works pretty cool on the iPhone though!

Yes it has. Go to cydia and update installed items. Libhide was updated and was causing the problem.
