Although I like the idea of a camera on the iPod Touch, having it in the top center position is a complete design fail. What is that silicon part on the iPod anyway? They should move it and place the camera there.

I dont think there really is a need for a camera on the ipod. It would be a nice feature but not worth the additional money. Thats why I think the Jobs didn't think it was worth it. If it does come out sometime over the summer then its bc cameras and the sensors have gotten so cheap that its viable.

On another note - is that prototype software still part of the apple current ipod/iphone subsystem? like a test boot screen to see if all parts are functional as in say the dell diagnostics mode?

and lastly.... whats up with the cheerios box for the serial number??? copyright issue or does apple own cheerios too
