If there was any doubt about the iPod Touch + camera rumor it should be put to rest. An iPod Touch with a camera looks real from where we're sitting. When? Probably the next Apple event that we believe is scheduled for September 8th. btw, we think it does video as well

How much is this camera iPod going to cost? Daring Fireball says they have the inside scoop.

The Zune HD prices look good compared to today's iPod Touches, but not so much compared to the new camera-equipped ones Apple is set to announce next month (16/32/64 GB for $199/299/399).

i suppose that could be it, ill just keep my pants on for a few more weeks, just got my 3GS so i havent any need for this device...... if it had a verizon data plan tho...... bye bye iphone

When I bought my Palm Pre and switched to Sprint, my iPhone turned into an iTouch with a camera. It's still a great device, the apps are still cool, and I get all the best mods through jailbreak. The phone and camera were never it's high points. I wouldn't pay extra just to have a camera.

uhhhhm i dun knw it kinda looks weird... that ipod i all scratched up and does look just like the 2g....
well i did think that they arent going 2 make much changes considering the fact that they havent done any physical changes between the 3g and 3gs

well abt the video... 2g iPhones "cant" make videos either....
but we have cycorder now dont we...
so if apple doesnt include an video app into the new 3g itouch then well some1 will come up with an app soon enough ^^

and the lens makes a camera good. all phones (and itouch) seem to be lacking that...

hmm, you would think it be not so scratched and be like New, plus why did he remove the top and not turn it on to see if its really an iPod Touch, it could just be a Phony

Actually yeah, the zune hd is great competition for the ipod touch. Tegra and an OLED screen. I save $10 and don't have to use itunes anymore. I actually preferred the Zune 80 over the classic too

Here is why it is scratched up:

-BTW, these phones NEVER leave Apple and this one left but it was a durability test phone, so that's why the screen is all gridded off and cracked.

Pictures of the circuit board also posted there since other sites are taking huge hits.
