TIP:
I don't know if its already been mentioned, but when using this jailbreak method, DO NOT reset any kind of settings....the ipod will crash and you'll have to put it in DFU mode again and start over..

Hope they fix this.

This is for the iPod Touch, not the iPhone.
The 2G iPhone can be jailbroken and unlocked but is nothing to do with redsn0w.
