there's no such thing as a touch of 1gb, the smallest is 8gb.
i meant 1g = 1st generation

i have a 1st gen touch with 2.2 fw JB-ed w/ Quickpwn but i just wanted to know if this method also worked for it, cause it seems easier..

Redsn0w Lite is out now, that's the 2g jailbreak if you don't know.. Don't try it if you don't know lots about well you know.. CMD and stuff.. It is only a teathered version, which is every time your iPod turns on it must be connected to a computer so it can inject the patch. That sucks. Although the iPhone Dev Team are working on an unteathered QuickPWN or more user friendly version of it.. But they did say it's not their top priority.. So us iPod Touch 2g owners that want an easier method of jailbreak will be waiting for a little while yet, I'd say..

just wondering if anyone has heard about that redsn0w software is out yet? cause iv downloaded a lot of files tryn to JB my ipod 2g 2.2.1 but came across this site, so if anyone can email me when redsn0w comes out that'l be great or just post an ad on this site and the URL to the site to download that'l be realy helpful, thanks...

It seems to be a dongle thing to Jailbreak the iPod 2G so you don't have to plug into a computer everytime.

Here's a link to the video they posted. I've seen it posted on iPod Touch Fans and Hackintosh. But obviously can't post links for that.
