New in-ear earphones announced!
Steve has announced the new in-ear earphones by apple!
These seem to full of excellent technology + art and is meant for true music lovers! Each earpiece consists of two drivers, a woofer and a tweeter. These come with three different earbuds with silicone eartips with different comfort levels!

They also come with built-in microphone, volume controls (not present in the iPhone earphones) and iPod controls like the earphones for the iPhone! These earphones only support the New iPod Touch, New iPod Nano and new iPod Classic.

Overall, at a price of just 79$, it's a loot!

Why would you need a mic when using the iPod?

Didn't I read that they added recording capabilities? Hence the mic.

you can switch the songs through there like on the iPhone i'm pretty sure itouch owners would love that because it must be a pain having to pull it out everytime. The mic is useless but the clicking thing on it isn't.

Apple's headphones are ****!
The drivers get messed up easily if you pump any bass-heavy music through it..
It just looks fancy. Sennheiser ears PWN em :P

Can't see why they wouldn't work with the iPhone..? I wonder if these have volume control as well?

Apple makes crappy headphones as is. I will be shocked if these are any good. They definitely will never be the shures

they should have a compatible version in my opinion. Makes no sense what so ever to have it compatible with the touch. Just my opinion.

I am sure they will make some to support the iPhone... they are most likely making these as a test run to see how well they sell. I would pick sennheisers or shures over these for this price (I am guessing they are not as good)

I once prayed to God for an iPhone, but quickly found out He didn't work that way...so I stole an iPhone and prayed for His forgiveness.

Exactly what makes them iPhone incompatible?
If the plug fits, they work....just like any other headphones us iPhone users are using.
What am I missing?

what's the purpose of the built in microphone when the new ear phone doesnt support iphone? totally pointless.
