Ok so is it just me, or does anyone else think that the current iPod Nano's look much nicer than these supposedly "leaked" dimensions?

My gut is telling me with all this stuff that it is real... AND IT REMINDS ME OF ZUNE!!! Which drives me even more insane! Apple may get a lot of crap for that...

If I've learned anything over the years of tracking Apple releases, it's that I should reserve judgment on a product until it is actually released.

All these same comments were being thrown around about the current nano "fatty" and now, in the days leading up to a new nano "skinny" people are complaining again!

I happen to think that the photos so far are simply mockups of the final product. I believe that the dimensions are real but that the real nano will have a little more polish. Plus, we haven't seen if they will improve the software, which would be nice as well.

Basically, we don't know THAT much about this new iPod, so lets not render judgment until El Jobso unveils the thing next week.

Who knows if they will actually look like this for the final. I know that the image of the photo was originally released by kevin rose and a relatively reliable source, but who says apple hasn't changed it. I wouldn't be surprised if the controls were removed and it was more like a touch.

this is by far the dumbest move for apple.. they've consistently made the ipod nano smaller which is great, but this doesn't cut it for me.. found this on engadget's site.. this is probably a fake considering that the dock connector is of the old squeeze style, but it is a decent idea of how it will look if it is real..

I've always liked the fatty 3G nano - I don't get why Apple doesn't just kill the old iPod form factor and make everything touch based. iPod Nano Touch would sell like hot cakes I tell you!

The Zune? No... Apple has used this form on the iPods before the Zune did. They went went with the square style for one generation. I like this new style better. Its thinner and fits easier into my pocket.
