need help retrieving songs

Hey everyone,
my girl friend was cleaning the house
and found her daughters old large
white ipod 30g.
Its beat to heck but i plugged it into my iphone charger and got it going.
Is there a way to upload some of those songs onto my girlfriends
itunes or is all that music it stuck in that ipod?

Just google "get music off ipod". There are quite a few paid and free programs that can help do this.
