Put iPod hard drive in external enclosure?

Hi I was given an ipod Classic 160GB that has broken controls and a dim LCD, but the hard drive still works fine. I picked up a 1.8 hard drive enclosure, but the cables to connect the hard drive that come with this, are too large for the connector on the drive. I'm guessing it's something proprietary. Does anyone know where I can find an enclosure to turn this into an external drive?
