I am looking to find an apapter to use to connect my ipod into my car to play it that way. Can someone make some recommendations?

A full function adapter (can control ipod funtions / see display etc. from car)? Or just a power / fm transmitter ? What type? And what kind of car?

Sorry for not including that information....

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer and wasnt sure if I could get the full control etc with just a plug-in to the lighter of my car....If I can that would be the way for me to go....If not then the best one where just plug it into my lighter!!

In my previous vehicle I used a DLO transpod.DLO | In the Car
I really liked it, It has a fm transmitter and a audio out, so you can use the fm or hardwire it to your existing radio.
But as you can see, they have several to choose from now.
This was my setup in my '07 Avalance (Transdock Classic)


The audio chord on the left is actually the audio from my DVD player.
