you can't, unfortunately, not with 2.0 as installer isn't compatible. but pwnage will put it on your phone if it's at 1.1.4

i read this thread and it seems a lot of people are trying to get 2.0 on their phone and there is no reason to unless your a dev and know how to create apps with the sdk...2.0 is mostly out there for testing...you wont be able to get installer on and wont be able to ssh into ur phone either...there arent any apps for you anyway for 2.0 so why bother loading it on to ur phone...ur just wasting ur time unless your a dev with the sdk...do not use 2.0...just use 1.1.4 or below if you wanna have 3rd party apps.

Hi,

My question is if i restore the iphone via itunes with the original file, and then restore it with a custum file (the point is restoring several iphones via itunes. Do i have to Pwn them each time each one so it accepts the custum file or i have to only do it once.

Thanks for your help

i believe you'd have to pwn every phone but can use the same custom firmware to restore via itunes so you don't have to create a custom one with each phone

restoring the phone using a stock firmware will "un-pwn" it and return it to factory settings. now, if you used pwnage to jailbreak but NOT unlock, you may run into the problems of not having service, as mentioned in previous posts. you can run bootneuter (spl?) to unlock your phone for service to work

I just pwnd my phone but now that it's done I have not gained anything I didn't already have before. I'm not a Dev so I won't be upgrading to 2.0 until June.

Until the ipsw builder allows for truely CUSTOM firmware such as preloading all your apps in a "moster pack" or allowing users to pick their own boot images... this essentially makes things HARDER b/c now I have to manually load BSD and Cydia...ect.

Basically what i'm saying is until this tool allows for more customization, there is no reason to go through all this just to end up right back where you were to begin with. Like going from dev team upgrade to ziphone to iplus to iliberty. Different ways of doing the SAME thing.. no better or worse result.

I agree with Poseidon. Unless you're planning on restoring/rejailbreaking, there's no reason to do this if your phone is working fine
