HELP! I did everything up to the point of restoring my iphone in iTunes. When I go to restore my iphone it doesn't give me the option of locating the file. It just started restoring the standard one, I don't know how to tell it to install the custom ipsw file.

I KEEP GETTING THE MESSAGE "CALL FORWARDING ACTIVE" ON THE SCREEN......PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?

There's a plist file you can edit to get rid of that message. It shouldn't stop you from making calls though.

So if anyone cares...the 2.0 firmware file shows up as "Unkown file" in the tool.

No big surprise as I am sure an update is needed to the program with the newest ipsw. Cant wait for some updates!

What did i do wrong? I recently unlocked my 1.1.4 with Ziphone. Decided to restore it to original because i can't get my wifi to work. After restoring it, I found out that the original setting still gives me problems with wifi. Hopefully the 2.0 firmware will make a difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried to search the thread for similar problem but had to give up after 15 pages.

When it comes to your wifi issue i had the same problem they way i fixed it is by restoring as new instead of restoring under your old name i know you lose your contacts and all that so write them down before restoring. Hope this helps....

thanks, it's going to be horrible if i have to restore to original because of the number of contacts that i have. It will have to be the last resort. Any other advices or instructions as to how i can get the ipsw to be recognized by ipwn.

I tried again to download a different firmware 1.1.4 from another source as well as the one from this forum but still receive the same messages.
