WinPwn Update #8
14th April
Well according to the chat with cmw in the irc room last night. WinPwn will be released sometime today.
All the delays have been due to bugs being fixed. cmw has really tested this thoroughly. I would rather wait and the bugs be fixed than have a iPod Touch/iPhone with issues.
I will update if any more news comes out. I am hoping that my next post will be about it being released. We will have to wait and see….
Edit: In preparation for the release of WinPwn, if you do not have firmware version 1.1.4 already downloaded, I suggest you go to my downloads section and download it. I have both the iPod Touch firmware and the iPhone firmware.
You will need 1.1.4 in order to use WinPwn.
this is according to ipodtouched.net
as he said you will need to have firmware 1.1.4 so watch my vid on utube to find out how!check out my youtube page (hint search my username here without the first "t")

My level of anger is up
u windows user babies can't wait one more night. You need to calm down. And the looks of it seems to me someone dont know how to install a dual boot system. That stuff is computer 101. I dont have mac I'd since if you can hack you can break into a mac os and have full control over someones computer in matter of 2 hours windows vista 1 hour. Linux on the other hand I can't tell you since I can't find any breaches and I been trying for the last 4 years.
if I had any control on the winpwn release I would make you guys that complain wait and for that others would suffer.
ps. Apple is already making winpwn and pwnage not to work on the next firmware release 1.2(2.0)

your smokin crack you can use anything on Linux if your smart enough and I take you not. I have windows apps and mac apps on my linux I run vbox to deal with my iPhone. Then once this pwnage crap has settle down the same man that made winpwn is worked on the cure to the Iphone problem. Your talkin to a cat that started using unix before I ever touched windows or mac. You couldnt fathom the stuff you can do with Linux ask any real Linux user. I dont have to pay a dime for my application. All I have to do is contribute to the community I have done my share and still do. Thanks I'll prove you wrong I'll make a Linux only adobe photoshop clone. I do everthing from Linux web development, computer programming, and surf the web with comfort knowing that I can go anywhere at once too. Without using all my memory and slowing down my computer. Like windows and mac does. But I won't knock mac to much cause mac OS is sorts going to the unix side of things. But you wasted enough of my time your a emo anyways

I have been using linux for about four years now off and on, but as a true photographer I can't use linux because Gimp is totally worthless without Adobe RGB, and the only other program worth using bibble has a much worse interface than lightroom. I have never had any luck getting wine to run lightroom because its just not compatible. Vmware server doesn't work nicely with my amd64 athlon 6700+ so I am out of luck there. Anything I am overlooking? IMO I can't do much with linux unless I have an dual processor. Also my Geforce card gave me a hell of a time with Xen because I can't update in SUSE without making XEN unusable and even then it wanted a dual core processor also.
That being said I love linux, but it just doesn't work for what I need on a daily basis.

Wine is very very weak when it comes to running application like that. Vmware is alright but like I said I run vbox same thing but in my opinion is better. I understand you do picture I program and web development so you say Linux is nothin like say a enzo is worst then a ford escort. just because you can't use photoshop that's what got me mad. I run a computer with a quad core plus 20 os and I have a rack server for data and to store music, web sites, anyother data. I run every application I own fine and run windows and mac OS fine in vbox. That's why I don't need to put to other system boots on my computer. I don't ever have to leave Linux. I have suse, opensuse, ubuntu, gentoo, freebsd, bsd, kubuntu, and many more. I love my suse and ubuntu, and my unix system. If you run windows more power to you. I run it while I'm on Linux so when you have certain problems running vmware then I'm sorry I grow up on unix and Linux. So I know them better then win or mac. My server has been down for maintance once in 4 1/2 years and it had nothin to do with the server os just hardware problems.
I'm sorry for your Linux problems but don't knock Linux its a lot more powerful than most.

Yeah. Wish I had the power you do. I don't think vbox would survive on my system. I am going to check it out though

ps suse is a much more advance Linux and much more powerful then most. Even my favorite ubuntu.
I love Linux I have it on my iPhone,ps3 too. Also my work phone is a actual Linux phone that phone I don't need to jailbreak or unlock cause I can use it on any network.
You might like gentoo cause that ones bare you need to build gentoo yourself as long as you have Linux drivers for your hardware it runs fine. But like you said I don't do photos I program

yes I have the power to run almost anything but my job is to find loop holes in software. I get paid to hack peoples systems. Try vbox but remember they use your system memory so when you set ram you share the ram between Linux and the other I'd your running in vbox or vmware so if you only have 1 gb of ram then give half to vbox or vmware your Linux will only have 512 mb and the other is reserved for os running in vbox or vmware. you are basically spliting everything in half so if you done have alot of power it will run like crap
