Follow this steps.

1 - open Pwnage

2- get the ipsw file get one that has not been Customize.

3- Select the file

4- ipwnag your iphone, Make sure 1-itunes is not up, and your iphone is on DFU, mode.

5- now ipwnage the ipsw file and select all the options you want, after both process are done just leave your phone in Restore mode, open itunes, control click restore, select the ipsw file you just customized.

That is it.

I have successfully pwned my phone. Just a quick question. I will wait until 2.0 (1.2) comes out officially before I update. When it does come out do I have to re pwn my phone again or because it is pwned it will I be able to update to 1.2 without any problems?

Anyone having problems with Summerboard working? After I reinstalled it, whenever I change themes they dont show up. I have to manually turn off the phone and turn it back on for it to show..

I got my iphone yesterday, im from Croatia, and it has been Jailbroken, unlocked and activated with iLiberty, so my question is do i need to restore it in Itunes to use pwnage, its a 1.1.4. firmware. Thank you

no you do not. as long as your phone is working fine, you do not need to restore and rejailbreak again. pwnage will just get you to where you already are now

In theory you should just be able to hit upgrade in itunes and it should remain jailbroken and unlocked with all subsequent firmware releases.

I Installed V2.0 Firmware on my phone without any issues once pwned. But could not installer.app working.

So i think i will wait for the official release or until they can get installer working on 2.0 properly

When your phone is in iTunes just click on it once in the left column. Then click on it again and you can edit the name.

is anybody, having issues with 1.2b or aka 2.0b? I have done several modifications on it last nite, I'm having trouble sending Text, and if you scrowl on the contacts the phone would just go back to the springboard.??

Worked great! I love the fact you are able to use custom firmwares.

Also you don't need to go into DFU, only recovery, it will tell you to get into recovery if you're in DFU mode! DFU and recovery modes are not the same.

Also, don't bother with 2.0, nothing to see there unless you like not being able to install 3rd party apps.

it's been stated numerous times that it is very buggy, hence "beta", and that it's not recommended for installation unless you're a developer using it to develop apps...

i have a 1.1.1 unlocked iphonei want to upgrade to at least 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 firmware and stay unlocked can i use this tool or do i have to use something else. if so what and how
